Do my customers need an app or data?
No app. The rating page is tiny (under 30 KB) and loads quickly even on a slow connection or a cheap phone.
Is it anonymous?
Yes, by default. Customers only share a name or number if they tick the box asking you to follow up. That consent is stored with the rating, as POPIA requires.
Do you only send happy customers to Google?
No. That's called review gating and Google doesn't allow it, so we don't do it. Every customer sees a link to your Google reviews. We just make the Google prompt the big button for happy customers, and the "what went wrong?" box the big button for unhappy ones.
Can people fake ratings?
Each phone can rate each QR code once a day. We never store customers' IP addresses; we keep a scrambled device fingerprint instead.
Which languages does the rating page speak?
English and isiZulu today. isiXhosa and Afrikaans are next.
How do I pay?
Billed monthly in rand by card or instant EFT. Pilot businesses are set up by hand, and we agree a plan with you before any billing starts.

Privacy and POPIA
Ratings are anonymous by default. We store a customer's name or number only when they tick the box asking you to follow up, and only owners and managers can see it, never staff. We don't store IP addresses. Details you send through the pilot form are used only to contact you about RateItNow. To see, correct or delete your information, tell us through the form above.
